This Week’s Subway Service Changes

Below you’ll find early week subway service changes for the A, C, G, B, Q, D, N, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5 lines in Brooklyn, plus the Franklin Avenue shuttle. Check back Thursday to see what’s happening this weekend. Changes via MTA.info.

No G trains between Nassau Av and Court Sq
All times until September 2

G service operates between Church Av and Nassau Av. Free shuttle buses provide alternate service.

Manhattan Av shuttle buses run between Nassau Av and Court Sq, stopping at Greenpoint Av and 21 St. McGuinness Blvd shuttle buses run between Lorimer St L and Court Sq, stopping near G stations at Nassau Av, Greenpoint Av and 21 St.

Transfer between Manhattan Av buses and G trains at Nassau Av. Transfer between McGuinness Blvd buses and G and L trains at Lorimer St/Metropolitan Av. More info here.

Starting Monday:

No R shuttle train between 59 St and 36 St
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am, Monday through Friday until August 15

R service operates between 95 St and 59 St. Take the N instead. Transfer between trains at 59 St.

Q trains run every 30 minutes between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and Stillwell Av
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am, Monday, August 4 to Friday, August 8

Service operates in two sections:
1. Between 57 St-7 Av and Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr (D/N platform)
2. Between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and Stillwell Av

Wakefield-bound 2 trains skip Hoyt, Clark, Wall, Fulton Sts and Park Place
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am, Monday, August 4 to Friday, August 8

After Nevins St, Wakefield-bound trains run via the to Wall St (skipping Bowling Green), then are rerouted nonstop to Chambers St and resume regular service. More details here.

Starting Tuesday:

Norwood-bound D trains and Astoria-bound N trains skip 25 St, Prospect Av, 4 Av-9 St, Union St and DeKalb Av
Late nights, 12:01am-5am, Tuesday, August 5 to Friday, August 8

For service to 25 St, Prospect Av, 4 Av-9 St and Union St, take the D or N to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D or N. For service from these stations, take the D or N to 36 St and transfer to a Norwood-bound D or Astoria-bound N.

To DeKalb Av, transfer to the 2 or 4 at Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr for service to nearby Nevins St. For service from this station, take the D, N, or Q to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and transfer to a Norwood-bound D or Astoria-bound N.

57 St/7 Av-bound Q trains skip DeKalb Av
Late nights, 12:01am-5am, Tuesday, August 5 to Friday, August 8

To DeKalb Av, transfer to the 2 or 4 at Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr for service to nearby Nevins St.  For service from this station, take the D, N, or Q to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and transfer to a 57 St/7 Av-bound Q. Service operates in two sections during this time.

Starting Wednesday:

145 Street-bound B trains run local from Kings Highway to Prospect Park
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday through Friday until August 8

Please allow additional travel time.

Coney Island-bound Q trains run express from Prospect Park to Kings Highway
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday through Friday until August 8

Trains stop at Church Av and Newkirk Plaza. For service to Parkside Av, Beverley, Cortelyou Rds, Avenue H, Avenue J, or Avenue M, take the Q to Church Av, Newkirk Plaza, or Kings Highway and transfer to a Manhattan-bound B or Q.

For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Kings Hwy, Newkirk Plaza, Church Av or Prospect Park and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.
