This Week’s Subway Service Changes
Below you’ll find early week subway service changes for the A, C, G, B, Q, D, N, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5 lines in Brooklyn, plus the Franklin Avenue shuttle. Check back Thursday to see what’s happening this weekend. Changes via MTA.info.
Today:
Coney Island-bound D trains run via the N from 36 St to Stillwell Av
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Monday to Friday until Oct 17
Trains stop at New Utrecht Av-62 St. For service to 9 Av, Fort Hamilton Pkwy, 50 and 55 Sts, take the D to New Utrecht Av-62 St and transfer to a Norwood-bound D. For service to 71, 79 Sts, 18, 20 Avs, Bay Pkwy, 25 Av and Bay 50 St, take the to Stillwell Av D and transfer to a Norwood-bound D.
For service from these stations, take the D to 62 St-New Utrecht Av or 36 St and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D or N.
Coney Island-bound N trains run via the Q from Canal St to DeKalb Av
Late night, 11:45pm on Monday, October 6 to 5am on Tuesday, October 7
No Coney Island-bound N service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Sts and Jay St-MetroTech. Use nearby 4 stations instead, then transfer between 4 and N trains at 14 St-Union Sq or Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr.
For service to Court St and Jay St-MetroTech, take the N to DeKalb Av and transfer to an Astoria-bound N. For service from Jay St-MetroTech, take the F to 4 Av-9 St and transfer to the N. Transfer is available between the N and downtown 4 at Canal St after 1am. More details here.
Flatbush Av-bound 2 trains skip Bergen St, Grand Army Plaza and Eastern Pkwy
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am Monday through Friday until October 24
For service to these stations, take the 2 to Franklin Av and transfer to a Manhattan-bound 2 or 4. For service from these stations, take the 2 or 4 to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and transfer to a Flatbush Av-bound 2.
New Lots Av-bound 4 trains skip Bergen St, Grand Army Plaza and Eastern Pkwy
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am Monday through Friday until October 24
For service to these stations, take the 4 to Franklin Av and transfer to a Manhattan-bound 2 or 4. For service from these stations, take the 2 or 4 to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and transfer to a New Lots Av-bound 4.
G trains run every 30 minutes between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs
Late nights, 11pm-5am, Monday, October 6 to Friday, October 10
Service operates in two sections:
1. Between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs, every 30 minutes
2. Between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Church Av, every 15 minutes
Transfer at Bedford-Nostrand Avs to continue your trip. More details here.
No R shuttle train between 59 St and 36 St
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am Monday through Friday until Oct 31
R service operates between 95 St and 59 St. Take the N instead, and transfer between trains at 59 St.
Starting tomorrow:
Astoria-bound N trains run via the Q from DeKalb Av to Canal St
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am, Tuesday, October 7 to Friday, October 10
No Astoria-bound N service at Jay St-MetroTech, Court, Whitehall, Rector, Cortlandt Sts and City Hall. Use nearby 4 stations instead, then transfer between 4 and N trains at Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr or 14 St-Union Sq.
For service to Jay St-MetroTech, take the N to 4 Av-9 St and transfer to the F. For service from Court St and Jay St-MetroTech, take the N to DeKalb Av and transfer to an Astoria-bound N. Transfer is available between the N and 4 at Canal St after 1:15 AM. More details here.
Starting Wednesday:
Brighton Beach-bound B trains run local from Prospect Park to Kings Hwy
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday through Friday until October 17
Please allow additional travel time.
Astoria-bound Q trains run express from Kings Hwy to Prospect Park
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday through Friday until October 17
Trains stop at Newkirk Plaza and Church Av.
For service to Avenue M, Avenue J, Avenue H, Cortelyou, Beverley Rds and Parkside Av, take the Q to Newkirk Plaza, Church Av or Prospect Park and transfer to a Brighton Beach-bound B or Coney Island-bound Q.
For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Church Av, Newkirk Plaza or Kings Hwy and transfer to an Astoria-bound Q.
