This Week’s Local Subway Service Advisories

So you thought your ride on the G train was back to somewhat normal — think again, as FasTrack work hits the line starting each night at 10pm this week. Details on that and other subway changes along local lines from the MTA:

Coney Island-bound F trains run via the A from W 4 St to Jay St-MetroTech
Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, until September 19
No Coney Island-bound F service at B’way-Lafayette St, 2 Av, Delancey St, East Broadway, and York St.
No G trains between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Church Av
Late nights, 10pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, September 8-12
F trains and free shuttle buses provide alternate service service operates between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs. Shuttle buses make all G stops between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Hoyt-Schermerhorn (see schedule here), connecting with the F at Jay St-MetroTech. F trains make all G stops between Bergen St and Church Av.
No R shuttle train between 59 St and 36 St
Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Tuesday to Friday, September 2-5
R service operates between 95 St and 59 St. Take the N instead. Transfer between trains at 59 St.
No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
All times until October 2014
No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.
Additionally, look out for changes further along the D and F lines.
