This Week’s B & Q Subway Service Changes

We thought a good amount of subway inconveniences wrapped up last week. We were wrong. Details on changes via MTA.info.

All times:

Coney Island-bound Q platforms at Parkside Avenue, Beverley Road, and Cortelyou Road are closed for renovation
All times, beginning 11:45pm Friday, February 21 until early Summer
For service to these stations, take the Q to Church Avenue or Newkirk Plaza and transfer to a Manhattan-bound Q.
For service from these stations, take the Q to Church Avenue or Prospect Park and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.

Starting Monday night:

Q Trains are rerouted in Manhattan
Late nights, 10pm-5am, Monday, June 2 to Friday, June 6
Q service operates between Stillwell Avenue and DeKalb Avenue, and is rerouted as follows:
• Via the D between DeKalb Avenue and 47th-50th Streets
• Via the F to/from 57th Street

Starting Wednesday:

Coney Island-bound Q trains skip Avenues H, J, M, U, and Neck Road
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday, June 4 to Friday, June 6
For service to these stations, take the Q to Kings Highway or Sheepshead Bay and transfer to a Manhattan-bound B or Q. For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Kings Highway or Newkirk Plaza and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.
Astoria-bound Q trains skip Neck Rd and Avenue U
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday, June 4 to Friday, June 6
For service to these stations, take the Q to Kings Hwy and transfer to a Brighton Beach-bound B* or Coney Island-bound Q.
For service from these stations, take the B* or Q to Sheepshead Bay and transfer to an Astoria-bound Q.
145 Street-bound B trains run local from Kings Highway to Prospect Park
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday, June 4 to Friday, June 6
Please allow additional travel time.
Brighton Beach-bound B trains make stops at Avenue U and Neck Road
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday, June 4 to Friday, June 6
