This Week’s B & Q Subway Service Changes
In addition to local platform renovations this week, both B and Q service end (or partially end) early, Avenues H, J, and M get skipped again, and more. Details on changes via MTA.info.
Coney Island-bound Q platforms at Parkside Avenue, Beverley Road, and Cortelyou Road are closed for renovation
All times, beginning 11:45pm Friday, February 21 until early Summer
For service to these stations, take the Q to Church Avenue or Newkirk Plaza and transfer to a Manhattan-bound Q.
For service from these stations, take the Q to Church Avenue or Prospect Park and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.
Q train service ends early between 57th Street-7th Avenue and Ditmars Boulevard
Late evenings beginning 10pm, Monday, March 10-Thursday, March 13
Q service operates between Stillwell Avenue and 57th Street-7th Avenue, and via the F to/from 21 Street-Queensbridge. For access to Lexington Avenue-59th Street and Queensboro Plaza, transfer between N and Q trains at 57th Street-7th Avenue.
B train service ends early
Late evenings, Monday, March 10-Thursday, March 13
Take the Q instead. Transfer between trains at DeKalb Avenue. Please use the following guide to arrive at your station before end of service.
145 St-bound B trains run local from Kings Highway to Prospect Park
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday to Friday until March 21
Please allow additional travel time.
Coney Island-bound Q trains skip Avenues H, J, and M
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday to Friday until March 21
For service to these stations, take the Q to Kings Highway and transfer to a Manhattan-bound B or Q. For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Newkirk Plaza and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.
