We’re wondering if the Q going express has anything to do with putting the finishing touches on local subway stations that were left looking a little disheveled (see top photo). Neighbor Jeremy writes:
When the MTA reopened the uptown platforms at Cortelyou, Beverley, and Parkside, many noticed that the tiles were missing. I sent the MTA an email to inquire if further work would be done to fix this error. Here’s how they responded:
“We were advised that the wall tiles are unique and difficult to locate. However, the tiles were shipped recently and installation will begin as soon as the tiles are received.”
“Hope that this actually does happen soon,” he says. So do we!
Sometimes scheduled changes get cancelled. Check MTA.info for the latest updates.
