Life doesn’t look too terrible on the subway front this week, though be careful: the Brighton Beach-bound B train is, again, running local and the Manhattan-bound Q is running express from Wednesday through Friday. Details via the MTA:
Brighton Beach-bound B trains run local from Prospect Park to Kings Highway
Days, 9:45am to 3pm, Wednesday to Friday, until October 17
Manhattan-bound Q trains run express from Kings Highway to Prospect Park

Trains stop at Newkirk Plaza and Church Avenue. For service to Avenue M, Avenue J, Avenue H, Cortelyou Road, Beverley Road, and Parkside Avenue, take the Q to Newkirk Plaza, Church Avenue, or Prospect Park and transfer to a Brighton Beach-bound B or Coney Island-bound Q. For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Church Avenue, Newkirk Plaza, or Kings Highway and transfer to a Manhattan-bound Q.
Remember, unscheduled changes can occur, so be sure to check out the MTA’s website before heading out.
