This Weekend’s Subway Service Changes

Below you’ll find weekend subway service changes in Brooklyn for the C, G, B, Q, D, N, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5 lines, plus some notes on changes in other boroughs. Check back Monday to see what’s happening next week. Changes via MTA.info:

G trains run every 20 minutes
Late evenings, beginning 11pm, Monday through Thursday until July 17 (except July 3)

Please allow additional travel time.

Through Friday:

145 St-bound B trains run local from Sheepshead Bay to Prospect Park
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesdays though Fridays until July 3

Please allow additional travel time.

Coney Island-bound Q trains run express from Prospect Park to Sheepshead Bay
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesdays through Fridays until July 3

Trains stop at Church Av, Newkirk Plaza and Kings Hwy.

For service to Parkside Av, Beverley, Cortelyou Rds, Avenue H, Avenue J, Avenue M, Avenue U and Neck Rd, take the B or Q to Church Av, Newkirk Plaza, Kings Hwy or Sheepshead Bay and transfer to a Manhattan-bound B or Q.

For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Kings Hwy, Newkirk Plaza, Church Av or Prospect Park and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q. Please allow additional travel time.

Coney Island-bound D and N trains skip Union St, 4 Av-9 St, Prospect Av and 25 St
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am, through Friday, June 27

For service to these stations, take the D or N to 36 St and transfer to a Manhattan-bound D or N.

For service from these stations, take the D or N to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D or N.

For service to 45 and 53 Sts, take the N to 59 St and transfer to an Astoria-bound N. For service from these stations, take the N to 36 St and transfer to a Coney Island-bound N.

No R shuttle train between 59 St and 36 St
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am, through Friday, June 27

R service operates between 95 St and 59 St. Take the N instead. Transfer between trains at 59 St.

No 2 or 4 trains at Bergen St, Grand Army Plaza and Eastern Pkwy / 3 train service ends early in Brooklyn
Late nights, 10pm-5am, Monday, June 23 to Friday, June 27

2 and 4 trains run express in both directions between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and Franklin Av.

Free shuttle buses make all stops between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and Franklin Av. Transfer between trains and buses at Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and Franklin Av.

Note, 4 service is extended to New Lots Av during this time.

Through the weekend:

Manhattan-bound Q trains run express from Kings Hwy to Prospect Park
Weekend, 11:45 PM Friday, June 27 to 9pm Sunday, June 29

Trains stop at Newkirk Plaza and Church Av.

For service to Avenue M, Avenue J, Avenue H, Cortelyou, Beverley Rds and Parkside Av, take the Q to Newkirk Plaza, Church Av or Prospect Park and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.

For service from these stations, take the Q to Church Av, Newkirk Plaza or Kings Hwy and transfer to a Manhattan-bound Q.

Coney Island-bound Q trains skip Avenue U and Neck Rd
Weekend, 11:45pm Friday, June 27 to 5am Monday, June 30

For service to these stations, take the Q to Sheepshead Bay and transfer to a Manhattan-bound Q.

For service from these stations, take the Q to Kings Hwy and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.
