We’ve rounded up some of the more interesting open houses happening in and around Ditmas Park this Sunday. Any thoughts on these places?

1818 Newkirk Avenue, #4P
List Price: $375,000
Size: One bedroom, one bathroom
Details: This one-bedroom on Newkirk includes an open plan living/dining space with a nook for what could be a home office, a renovated kitchen, and a large bedroom. The open living/dining space faces east, which means lots of light in the morning, and the bedroom overlooks the building’s common garden. The building has a doorman, live-in super, common laundry room, bike storage, and a garage. You’d be near the Newkirk Avenue B/Q subway station and not a long walk to all the restaurants and shopping on Cortelyou Road. What do people think of the $375,000 asking price?
Open House: Sunday, October 5, 2-3:30pm

839 East 19th Street #4A
List Price: $395,000
Size: Two bedrooms, one bathroom
Details: This two-bedroom, pet-friendly condo is right next to Brooklyn College and in a building that’s a pre-war condo conversion, consisting of two adjoining prewar buildings at 1912 Avenue H and 839 East 19th. In your place, you’d have original detailing in a renovated space that includes an open floor plan, hardwood floors, and stainless steel appliances. From the photos, it looks like there’s not a whole lot of counter space in the kitchen, which is a downer, but, hey, the room still looks pretty and modern.
Open House: Sunday, October 5, 12-2:30pm

34 Crooke Avenue Penthouse 6A
List Price: $825,000
Size: Two bedrooms, two bathrooms
Details: Well, this is yet another place we couldn’t afford, but, if you can, this two-bedroom condo has some pretty fantastic elements to it – a private terrace, an in-unit washer and dryer, super tall 16-foot ceilings, seven sky lights, and two floors of windows, to name a few. It’s got a ton of space – the original floor plan was designed a three/four bedroom duplex but is not configured as a two bed/two bath. It’s in a building with a fitness center, elevator, common roof deck, common lounge/party room, and a parking garage. If you lived here, you’d be right by Prospect Park (just don’t use the Parade Grounds to walk home at night), as well as near the Church Avenue B/Q subway station and all the shopping and restaurants on Church Avenue. We’re curious to see what you think of the $825,000 price tag, especially considering another two bedroom/two bathroom at the same spot is selling for $599,000.
Open House: Sunday, October 5, 2-3:30pm.

208 Marlborough Road
List Price: $2.27 million
Size: Five bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms
Details: This 10-room Victorian from 1901 has so many drool-worthy details – there’s a center hall with refinished parquet floors, the first floor includes rooms with original oak paneling, and there are original plaster walls with dental moldings. The dining room has a wood-coffered ceiling, there’s a double parlor with a wood fireplace, and the kitchen looks huge (though pretty dated). The master bedroom spans the entire width of the house, there’s a claw-foot tub (!), and you’d have your own private backyard. If you lived here, you’d be close to Prospect Park, as well as the B/Q subway station, restaurants, and shopping on Church Avenue. At $2.27 million, do you think it will sell?
Open House: Sunday, October 5, 2-3:30pm
