This Weekend’s Open House Picks
Here’s the weekly roundup of open houses around the neighborhood. What do you think?
CO-OPS
• 601 East 19th Street #1O (pictured above) is listed for $259,000. This 913 sq. ft. one bed, one bathroom apartment has a newly renovated kitchen, a big living room and bedroom. It looks like there’s quite a bit of space here, which is good as it’s pet friendly and your furry friend will need room to run.
Open house: Sunday, December 16, 12:30-2pm
• 616 East 18th Street #3K is on the market at $160,000. The 50-year-old, 550 sq. ft. apartment has dropped $15,000 in price in the last day or so. The building has a doorman and elevator but one curious thing to note: there’s no proper bedroom here. Instead, there’s an alcove that the buyer will have to section off to create a “bedroom area.”
Open house: Sunday, December 16, 2:30-3:30pm
• 221 East 18th Street #5F is on the market for $255,000. It’s listed as a 1-bed, 1-bath but the pictures show an expansive apartment worth exploring in between Beverley and Albemarle Roads. Consider the very big bedroom, new kitchen and great looking living room. At four rooms in total, #5F looks like a great apartment to check out.
Open house: Sunday, December 16, 1:30-3pm
• 462 Westminster Road remains available for $1,175,000. This marks about four months on the market for the 6-bedroom Victorian. The house has a backyard deck, fireplace, butler’s pantry, stained glass, oak woodwork, large formal dining room and, to top it all off, a hidden staircase for a quick getaway.
