This Weekend’s Open House Picks
Here’s the weekly roundup of open houses around the neighborhood. Lots of co-ops on the market this weekend. What do you think?
CO-OPS• 221 E 18th Street, #5J is a 2-bed, 2-bath listed by Brooklyn Hearth for $445,000, maintenance is $996.15. It’s 1,200 square feet and is in a building boasting a new elevator, a large laundry room, free basement storage and a recently renovated outdoor garden.
Open house: Sunday, September 23, 3-4:30pm
• 811 Cortelyou Road #4H is another listing from Brooklyn Hearth. At $385,000, it’s bigger and more expensive than a couple of other apartments recently listed at 811. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bath in the 1,100-square-foot apartment just across Coney Island Avenue. But as we’ve noted, the building has high monthly fees–this one is $1054.25 per month.
Open house: Sunday, September 23, 2:30-4pm
• 385 Argyle Rd #5B (pictured above) has been on the market since May for $305,000, maintenance $548. It’s a 1-bed, 1-bath located in the heart of Cortelyou. We were a little surprised to have listed it again in July, but here we are in September and the Elliman listing remains unchanged.
Open house: Sunday, September 23, 12-1:30pm
• 345 Webster Avenue #1N is another apartment just across CIA at $239,000, maintenance $789. Listed by Corcoran, it’s a 2-bed, 1.5-bath with laundry and garage parking included. Dogs aren’t welcome, but there’s a big kitchen with a 6-burner stovetop, direct access to a shared patio and underground parking available (to rent) to take your mind off of your lack of a fluffy friend. Unfortunate wood paneling and floors, though.
Open house: Sunday, September 23, 1-2pm
• Welcome back to our returning champion: 462 Westminster Rd. With 6 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, the house boasts lovely original details and wood floors. But that kitchen could use some updating. Listed by Brooklyn Properties for $1,175,000.
Open house: Sunday, September 23, 1-2:30pm
