We’ve rounded up some of the more interesting condo and co-op open houses happening around Fort Greene and Clinton Hill this weekend. Any thoughts on these places?

105 Ashland Place #7E
List Price: $250,000, $534 common charges
Size: Studio, 1 bath
Details: This co-op unit is close to Fort Greene Park and amenities on Myrtle and Dekalb, and a quick walk to the subway, too. It’s nothing spectacular to look at, but does look to have a windowed kitchen, ample closet space, and a not too shabby view. No pets are allowed and you’ll have to put 20% down, but if you think you can make the place feel like home, give it a look.
Open House: Saturday, September 13, 10am-1pm

101 Lafayette Avenue #2L
List Price: $350,000, $555 common charges
Size: Studio, 1 bath
Details: This place, just off the Fowler Square-area shopping, dining, and transportation hub, has a bit more character than the studio above. In addition to its gorgeous details like casement windows and oak floors, the unit comes with private outdoor space, and the building also features laundry facilities and a front desk staff. Other pluses? Pets are allowed, as are long term subletting arrangements. What looks to be a first floor location could be great for home hunters with mobility concerns, or a deal breaker for others.
Open House: Sunday, September 14, 2:30-4pm

201 Clinton Avenue #8C
List Price: $599, $1,073 maintenance
Size: 2 bedrooms, 1 bath
Details: This nearly 1,000 sq ft pad between Willoughby and Myrtle will put you close to local amenities and Pratt, but you could just as happily stay at home. It’s big (how many kitchen cabinets are we talking?), it’s sunny (double exposure in at least one bedroom), and on the building’s 8th floor, we’re guessing you’ll have a bit of a view, too. There’s laundry on site and pets are allowed, plus a separate common area can be used for dining, a studio, or a home office.
Open House: Sunday, September 14, 2:30-4pm

555 Washington Avenue #1C
List Price: $795,000, $324 common charges
Size: 1.5 bedrooms, 1.5 baths
Details: Yowza! This duplex plus in a former seminary is not only totally stunning–at over 1,100 versatile sq ft, it’s also puzzle lover’s dream. The unit’s loft space looks like it’s currently being used as an office, its lowest level is a studio/rec room/dining area, and its kitchen could stand a bit of an expansion–but who says you can’t introduce your own spin on things? Bring your pets, enjoy a lovely courtyard and two laundry rooms, and let your imagination run wild.
Open House: Sunday, September 14, 1-2pm
