This Weekend’s F & G Subway Service Changes
All things considered, maybe this weekend isn’t so bad.
UPDATE 4/11: Sorry guys, the MTA just added a new change for this weekend, which means that yep, the F and G trains will be skipping some local stops once again. Details via MTA.info:
G trains run every 20 minutes
Late nights beginning 11pm, Monday to Thursday until May 1
Allow additional travel time.
Coney Island-bound F trains skip 4 Av-9 St, 15 St-Prospect Park, Fort Hamilton Pkwy, and Ditmas Av
Church Av-bound G trains skip 4 Av-9 St, 15 St-Prospect Park, Fort Hamilton Pkwy
Weekend, 7am to 7pm, Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13
For service to 4 Av-9 St, 15 St-Prospect Park, Fort Hamilton Pkwy, take the train to Church Av and transfer to a Queens-bound F or G. For service from 4 Av-9 St, 15 St-Prospect Park, Fort Hamilton Pkwy, take the or to 7 Av or Smith-9 Sts and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F or Church Av-bound G. For service to Ditmas Av, take the F to 18 Av and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F. For service from this station, take the to Church Av and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F.
Coney Island-bound F trains run via the A from West 4th Street to Jay Street-MetroTechNo Coney Island-bound F service at Broadway-Lafayette Street, 2nd Avenue, Delancey Street, East Broadway, and York Street. For service to Broadway-Lafayette Street, transfer to the D at West 4th Street. For service to 2nd Avenue, Delancey Street, and East Broadway, take the F to Jay Street-MetroTech and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F.
Weekend, 11:45pm Friday, April 11 to 5am Monday, April 14
For service from these stations, take the F to West 4th Street and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F. For York Street, use the nearby High St A/C station instead.
