This Weekend’s F & G Subway Changes

This Weekend’s F & G Subway Changes
F train subway

It’s almost the weekend! We still don’t have the G north of Nassau Avenue, and watch out for a couple changes on the F.  Details via the MTA:

Starting Thursday:

No G train service north of Nassau Avenue
All times, until 5am Tuesday, September 2
The G is only running between Church and Nassau avenues to allow for the reconstruction of tunnels damaged during Hurricane Sandy. This means that at all times, trains will not be running to or from Greenpoint, 21st Street, and Court Square reconstruction of tunnels in Long Island City. Free shuttle buses will provide alternate service. For more information about transfers, go here.

Starting Friday:

Coney Island-bound F trains run via the M from Roosevelt Avenue to 47-50 Streets
Weekend, 11:15pm Friday, August 15 through 5am Monday, August 18
No Coney Island-bound F service at 21 Street-Queensbridge, Roosevelt Island, Lexington Avenue/63rd Street, and 57th Street.
Jamaica-bound F trains run via the A from Jay Street-MetroTech to West 4th Street
Weekend, 11:45pm Friday, August 15 through 5am Monday, August 18
No Jamaica-bound service at York Street, East Broadway, Delancey Street, 2 Avenue, and Broadway-Lafayette Street.

Remember, unscheduled changes can occur, so check the MTA’s website before heading out.
