This Weekend’s B & Q Subway Service Changes

Happy weekend, Ditmas Park! Here’s to hoping all your subway trips will be short and sweet. Or, if not short, then definitely sweet.

Here are the planned changes for this weekend. Details via mta.info.

Through Friday:

145 Street-bound B trains run local from Sheepshead Bay to Prospect Park.
Days, 9:45 am to 3 pm

Through Sunday:

Manhattan-bound Q trains run express from Kings Highway to Prospect Park.
Weekend, 11:45 pm Friday to 9 pm Sunday

Trains stop at Newkirk Plaza and Church Avenue.

For service to Avenue M, Avenue J, Avenue H, Cortelyou, Beverley Roads and Parkside Avenue, take
the to Newkirk Plaza, Church Avenue or Prospect Park and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q train.

For service from these stations, take the to Church Avenue, Newkirk Plaza or Kings Highway
and transfer to a Manhattan-bound Q train.

Coney Island-bound Q trains skip Avenue U and Neck Road.
Weekend, 11:45pm Friday to 5am Monday

For service to these stations, take the to Sheepshead Bay and transfer to a Manhattan-bound Q train.

For service from these stations, take the Q to Kings Highway and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q train.

Q Service is extended to Ditmars Boulevard.
Weekends, 7am to 9pm Saturday and 9am to 7 pm Sunday

Service operates between Stillwell Avenue and Ditmars Boulevard.
