This Weekend’s B & Q Subway Service Changes

Things are looking pretty good after Friday–just make sure you’re clear on southbound platform reopenings vs other changes they’re butting up against, or you might get burned. Details via MTA.info.

All times:

The Coney Island-bound Q platform at Parkside Avenue is closed for renovation
All times until 5am on Thursday, June 19
For service to Parkside Avenue, take the Q to Church Avenue and transfer to a Manhattan-bound Q. For service from Parkside, take the Q to Prospect Park and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.

Through Friday:

The Coney Island-bound Q platform at Cortelyou Road is closed for renovation
All times until 5am on Friday, June 13
For service to Cortelyou Road, take the Q to Newkirk Plaza and transfer to a Manhattan-bound Q. For service from Cortelyou, take the Q to Church Avenue and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.
145 Street-bound B trains run local from Sheepshead Bay to Prospect Park
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday, June 11 to Friday, June 13
Please allow additional travel time.
Coney Island-bound Q trains run express from Prospect Park to Sheepshead Bay
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesday, June 11 to Friday, June 13
Trains stop at Church Avenue, Newkirk Plaza, and Kings Highway. The newly-opened southbound platform at Cortelyou will be open from 5am-9:45am, and from 3pm on, but closed in between.
For service to Parkside Avenue, Beverley Road, Cortelyou Road, Avenue H, Avenue J, Avenue M, Avenue U and Neck Rd, take the Q to Church Avenue, Newkirk Plaza, Kings Highway or Sheepshead Bay and transfer to a Manhattan-bound B or Q.
For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Kings Highway, Newkirk Plaza, Church Avenue, or Prospect Park and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.

Weekend only:

Coney Island-bound Q trains skip Avenue U and Neck Road
Weekend, 3:45am on Saturday, June 14 to 10pm on Sunday, June 15
For service to these stations, take the Q to Sheepshead Bay and transfer to a 57th Street/7th Avenue-bound Q.
For service from these stations, take the Q to Kings Highway and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.
