This Week on the Crime Map

Several neighbors sent us incidents of crime in the neighborhood that we’ve added to the map–including a scary account of a gunpoint mugging in January, several broken car windows, and a mugging a neighbor witnessed from a bus but still called 911 to report it. Some additional reports from around the area include:

• The police are looking for two men who robbed one Metro PCS on Church Ave, another on Flatbush Ave, and a third in Queens. NY1 has video of the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.

The Brooklyn Daily notes an iPod robbery on Marlborough near Caton in which two of the three suspect were caught, plus an argument that resulted in a slashing on Kenilworth and another that led to a stabbing near the Junction.

• A man and woman robbed a 30-year-old man at Hinckley Place and Coney Island Ave, punching him and stealing his wallet, according to KARMABrooklyn.

I would have also posted the updated CompStat report for the 70th Precinct, but the one that’s available is still the same one from last week.

If you’ve been the victim of the crime, after you’ve reported it to the police, please send us an email at ditmasparkcorner@gmail.com or fill out the form on the map page with the details, including date, approximate time, and what happened, and we’ll add it to the map.
