• A parent is reminding neighbors to respect children with special needs.

• Police said if bicyclists don’t slow down in Prospect Park, they’ll bring out the radar gun.

• Legislators are calling for more affordable housing.

Gap opened on Flatbush Avenue, just across from the Kings Theatre.

• We got a glimpse of what Cortelyou Road was like almost 100 years ago.

• Everyone can’t wait for Hunger Pang to open.

• Get in the Halloween spirit by watching the 1925 horror film version of “The Phantom of the Opera” at Our Lady of Refgue.

Cortelyou Library will hold its annual book sale on October 18.
