This Week At The Cortelyou Greenmarket

Tomorrow’s Cortelyou Greenmarket will have a variety of colorful potatoes, says new market manager Emily Winkler-Morey. She also says neighbors who’ve been asking about milk and cheese should know that Goodale Dairy is currently caring for their goats, who give birth this time of year, but are hoping to return in about a month with goat and cow products. Oh, and a note on the weather:

“All regular producers, compost, and textile recycling are scheduled to be present,” she says, “but customers should check GrowNYC for the most up-to-date information on any weather-related changes to the market.”

Barring any last minute changes, you can also:

• Bring food scraps to be composted from 8am-1pm.

• Drop off textiles to be recycled from 8am-2pm.

The Cortelyou Greenmarket runs year-round on Sundays, 8am to 3pm, on Cortelyou Road between Argyle and Rugby Roads. For more info, find the Greenmarket on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
