This Week at the Cortelyou Greenmarket

Sunday means the Greenmarket is back on Cortelyou Road.

With the fall weather and abundance of apples, it is time again for the Annual Apple Pie Bake Off! The event, starting at 11 am, is free and fun. To enter, simply bring your apple pie made with local apples to the info tent before 11 a.m. Judging and then eating will begin promptly at 11! Come to enter, to eat, and to cheer on your favorite baker.

To enter the Bake Off or to request more details, please email sblatteis@greenmarket.grownyc.org.

Bring unwanted clothes and other textiles and/or food scraps for collection on the corner of Rugby and Cortelyou from 8am to 1pm.

For every five dollars you spend with your EBT card, you will receive a $2 Healthbucks coupon free for fruits and vegetables. WIC and FMNP checks are also gladly accepted at market.

Avoid ticketing and towing by not parking on Cortelyou or Rugby Roads. Visit the info tent to use your debit, credit, or EBT cards. For more info, follow Cortelyou Greenmarket on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

The Greenmarket runs every Sunday, rain or shine, 8am to 4pm between Argyle and Rugby.
