This Week at the Cortelyou Greenmarket

Went out for a walk. Stumbled upon a greenmarket. by Jenblossom, on Flickr.

“Enjoy the fine summer weather this weekend by shopping at the Cortelyou Greenmarket,” says Market Manager Samantha Blatteis. “Your favorite summer produce is creeping back into season, with blueberries (come early!), strawberries, summer squash, broccoli, and all kinds of peas, beans, beets and carrots.

“We are also honored to be joined by special musical guests The Shinbone Alley Stilt Band, performing at noon,” she adds. “Get ready to look up!”

Keep bringing your food scraps and unwanted textiles! Collection continues on the corner of Rugby and Cortelyou from 8am to 1pm.

Remember to avoid ticketing and towing by not parking on Cortelyou or Rugby Roads. Visit the info tent to use your debit, credit, or EBT cards. For more information and for up to the minute news, you can follow Cortelyou Greenmarket on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram @bkgreenmarkets.

The Greenmarket runs every Sunday, rain or shine, from 8am to 4pm on Cortelyou between Argyle and Rugby.
