“Happy June!” says Cortelyou Greenmarket Manager Samantha Blatteis. “There are lots of early summer favorites now available at Cortelyou Greenmarket, including strawberries, peonies, vegetable seedlings, broccoli, nettles, greens, and more! As always, grab your meats, fish, poultry, dairy, eggs, honey, maple syrup, and baked goods.”

Important change to compost and textile collection: The new drop off hours are from 8am to 1pm, so make sure to get your scraps to market in time! For more info about what can be recycled, visit grownyc.org/compost.

Remember to avoid ticketing and towing by not parking on Cortelyou or Rugby Roads. Visit the info tent to use your debit, credit, or EBT cards. For more information and for up to the minute news, you can follow Cortelyou Greenmarket on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram @bkgreenmarkets.

The Greenmarket runs every Sunday, rain or shine, from 8am to 4pm on Cortelyou between Argyle and Rugby.
