This Thanksgiving, Help CAMBA’s Food Pantry Bring Turkey Dinners To 500 Local Families In Need

Thankful for your neighbors? This upcoming holiday, give them something to be thankful for, too! We’ve partnered with CAMBA’s Beyond Hunger Emergency Food Pantry to bring 500 turkeys to local families this Thanksgiving, and we hope you’ll join us.

“Throughout the year, hungry people line up outside the pantry’s doors on Church Avenue looking for the food they need to live,” says the organization. “Come November, though, they hope for a little more—for their children to be able to take part in the season’s bounty.”

CAMBA always gives what they can, but turkeys can stretch a pantry budget to the breaking point. So this year, they’re asking for some help bringing Thanksgiving turkeys to 500 families in our community:

• For $25, you can buy a turkey and all the trimmings for a family of six.

• For $50, you’ll bring that to two families.

• And for $100, four families will have the holiday meal that we expect, and enjoy, like clockwork every year.

CAMBA is aiming to provide 500 turkeys this year–a number that will start to meet the need that they see–but we’re confident that neighbors will contribute enough that even more than 500 families will be able to enjoy a lovely Thanksgiving holiday.
