This Sunday, Support PS 230 At A Barnes & Noble Book Fair
You can get some holiday shopping done and help support Kensington’s PS 230 this Sunday, December 7, at the Barnes and Noble in Park Slope (267 7th Avenue, by 6th Street), where there will be free activities for children and families beginning at 12pm.
Acclaimed children’s singer Suzi Shelton will perform at 1pm, there will be a science and trivia contest (with prizes!), and a special craft table. And, best yet, students from PS 230 will be reading their own work during the afternoon festivities.
Plus, if you buy anything, a percentage goes to the school – all you have to do is say that you want to support PS 230 at the register. You’ll also be able to donate specifically requested books to the teachers directly.
