New Utrecht International Film Festival

What: Back to 1942 is a 2012 Chinese historical film directed by Feng Xiaogang, based on Liu Zhenyun‘s novel Remembering 1942. It is about a major famine in Henan,China, during the Second Sino-Japanese War.The film is in Chinese with English subtitles.

Where: Coney Smorgasburg, 1320 Bowery Street
What: Come sample the grub from 14 different food vendors and pose in front of Coney Art Walls, a public art wall project featuring some of the world’s most prominent street artists and more than 20 murals.
