What: Kids aged 2-5. Kids’ health is more important than ever and this FUNctional Fitness party combines physical activity with lots of fun! During the 60 minute program, children will Jump, Jack, and Jog through an energizing fitness event complete with cool dance tunes and a festive feel sure to keep everyone on their feet.

What: Puppet Shows for the Hipster Set – Dancing, Music, Bubble time + a brand spanking new puppet story each week this summer! The highly interactive and educational show is geared toward 0 – 4 year olds and their hipster parents.

July New Book Giveaway: “Go Set A Watchman” by Harper Lee
When: Wednesday, July 15 from 2:15-3pm

What: Go Set a Watchman features many of the characters from To Kill a Mockingbird some 20 years later. Returning home to Maycomb to visit her father, Jean Louise Finch—Scout—struggles with issues both personal and political, involving Atticus, society, and the small Alabama town that shaped her. Exploring how the characters from To Kill a Mockingbird are adjusting to the turbulent events transforming mid-1950s America.

What: Bugs aren’t gross—they’re great! Let our giant cockroach puppet teach your students why insects are the coolest creatures around. We then take off on a 3,000-mile adventure with our butterfly-themed show, “The Tale of Flutterby and Piggle.” This musical, interactive performance introduces students to the interdependence among plants and animals.

In Things that Go Burp! in the Night, readers can count along as these NOT-so-picky eaters go through 9 carrots, 8 macaroni, 7 blueberries, 6 orange slices, 5 grapes, 4 peas, 3 crackers, and 2 bananas. But it only takes 1 surprise “guest” to send the mice scampering for cover. Toddler Tuesdays at Lakeside

What: Start your Tuesdays with an action-packed morning of toddler-only dedicated skate time on the rink, instructor-led games, music, play-based activities, snacks, and beverages. The Toddler Tuesday program is designed for children ages 2–5 and their caregivers. Accompanying caregivers are required to participate in all activities with their toddlers and must be prepared to assist/monitor the toddler accordingly.
