What: The co-op’s open house marks its fourth anniversary by welcoming the public into the store to shop and learn more about Greene Hill’s affordable local, seasonal produce and groceries. The store also will be collecting nonperishable food donations for our Holiday Food Drive, benefitting a local food bank.

What: Popup art shack!The popular afterschool art studio and Brooklyn Flea vendor, ArtShack Brooklyn, will be hosting two popup holiday shops, on December 12th and 19th in Clinton Hill, where they will be selling delicate porcelain gift items conceived and designed by students in their apprenticeship program.  All proceeds go toward funding their scholarship program, which currently provides free art classes to 25% of their students.

What: This powerhouse vocal quartet—featuring members of the pioneering contemporary a capella ensemble Rockapella—brings the holiday cheer to BAMcafé with its soulful, rock- and jazz-influenced take on barbershop. There will be no instruments in sight as seasonal classics get the doo-wop treatment in this special yuletide concert, featuring a guest appearance by operatic soprano Inna Dukach.
