Looking to fill your schedule? There’s plenty to do in southern Brooklyn this week. Catch a Wes Anderson flick on the beach, get your bike engraved to help the police recover it from thieves, learn the art of storytelling with teachers from the Moth, or watch City Councilman Mark Treyger and his team play a charity softball match against the Coney Island Autism Angels.

Protect Your Bicycle

Where: Asser Levy Park, Seabreeze Avenue and Surf Avenue
What: Police from the 60th Precinct will be etching a unique serial number onto bikes, which helps owners recover their rides after they’re stolen. The event is co-sponsored by Flatbush Shomrim and City Councilman Chaim Deutsch.

Team Treyger and Coney Island Autism Angels Face Off at MCU Park

What: City Councilman Mark Treyger, his staff, and police from the 60th Precinct will play softball against the Coney Island Autism Angels (CIAA). All proceeds will go toward the CIAA to help them continue improving the lives of local children and their families.
