Lots to do this weekend. Don’t miss the Landmarks Preservation Commission’s Brooklyn hearing, where the agency will consider granting landmark status to the Lady Moody House and the Coney Island Pumping Station. The material will be published on EPOCH (Electronically Preserving Obituaries as Cultural Heritage), a website that allows anyone to create and publish a free obituary online.

Manhattan Beach Neighborhood Association Meeting

Landmarks Preservation Commission Brooklyn Hearing

Where: LPC’s offices, 9th floor of 1 Centre Street in Manhattan
What: The LPC is considering granting landmark status to seven sites in Brooklyn, including Gravesend’s Lady Moody House and the Coney Island Pumping Station.
