Things To Do In Southern Brooklyn This Week: Irish Night On Shore Road, 18th Avenue Feast, Free Movies & Concerts

Lots of activities in southern Brooklyn this week. If you haven’t already, head over to the 18th Avenue Feast — happening all week in Bensonhurst. Or check out the last two shows in Senator Golden’s free summer concert series. And don’t miss some of the free movie screening happening this week.

Coney Island Circus Sideshow
When: Daily, 1pm – 8pm
Where: Sideshows by the Seashore, 1208 Surf Avenue
What: Coney Island is the last place in the United State where you can enjoy a ten-in-one circus sideshow. Check out thrilling performances by sword and fire swallowers, contortionists, and other entertainers who were “born different” during this one-of-a-kind production.
How much: $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12

18th Avenue Feast of Santa Rosalia
When: Thursday, August 20 – Sunday, August 30, 5 – 11pm weekdays, 11am – 11pm weekends
Where: 18th Avenue, between 68th Street to 75th Street
What: This 10-day fesrival, now in its 40th year, will feature food, rides and live music. The celebration is expected to draw thousands.

Brooklyn Cyclones vs. Hudson Valley Renegades

What: Cheer on the home team as they battle the Hudson Valley Renegades. All fans are invited to run the bases.
