Things To Do In Southern Brooklyn: Opera At The Lighthouse, Jewish Happiness, And How Women Won The War
The Ryan Visitor Center at Floyd Bennett Field

Blessed with a largely beautiful week in the mid- to low-70s, there’s plenty to do in Southern Brooklyn before the weekend is even in sight. Take in some opera at Kingsborough’s lighthouse, complete with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and complimentary wine and cheese. If that doesn’t make you happy there’s a talk just for you (well, if you’re Jewish). Author Olga Guilburd will talk about her upcoming book Happiness the Jewish Way. Still grumpy? Gain some perspective over at the historic Ryan Visitor Center at Floyd Bennett Field, where you can learn about the role military women played in WWII to win the production battle.
