Things To Do In Southern Brooklyn: Drive-In Movie, Cosmic Kick-Off Party, Bike Lessons
The weather is heating up. And that means lots of fun activities in southern Brooklyn! Check out “The Wizard of Oz” at the drive-in movie night in Manhattan Beach Park. Luna Park’s kick-off party for their new space-themed ride also looks totally out of this world. There is also an upcoming talent show, kids events at Marine Park, pet adoption event, bicycle lessons, and much more.

Coney Island Talent Show Sign-Up
When: Daily, 10am – 6pm
Where: Coney Island Library, 1901 Mermaid Avenue (Near West 19th Street)
What: The Coney Island Library, with support from City Councilman Mark Treyger, is hosting their first talent show. All types of performers are invited to participate, though the show is only open to ages 12 to 17. The last day to register is Friday, May 5.

Kids Week at Marine Park

Where: Salt Marsh Nature Center, East 33rd Street and Avenue U
What: School’s out this week. And given the beautiful weather, why not burn off some of that outdoor’s exploring one of New York City’s largest parks. Activities this week include insect exploration, coastal exploration, wilderness survival skills, scavanger hunt, and birding bonanza.
