Bay Ridge Ragamuffin Parade
When: Saturday, October 3, 12:30pm
Where: 76th Street between 3rd and 4th Avenues
What: This annual Bay Ridge tradition, at which children march down 3rd Avenue wearing their Halloween costumes, has been going on every year on October 3, since 1966. CHEERS NY At Industry City
When: Friday, October 2 – Sunday, October 4, 10am – 4pm
Where: Industry City, 241 37th Street
What: CHEERS NY is first-of-its-kind craft beverage festival and trade show, sponsored by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. Sample tastings from New York State beer, wine, spirits, and cider producers, eat your way through the Brooklyn Eats™ marketplace, and enjoy drinks at the outdoor beer hall.

Walk Against Hunger At Milestone Park
When: Saturday, October 3, 10am
Where: Milestone Park, 18th Avenue between 81st Street & 82nd Street
What: Reaching-Out Community Services will be holding its 7th annual Walk Against Hunger. Walkers will leave from Milestone Park at 11am, walk one mile down 18th Avenue to 65th Street, and then return back to Milestone Park. There will be refreshments, music, games, and more. Official “Walk Against Hunger” T-shirts will be given to the first 200 participants who donate $25 or more.

Bensonhurst Greenmarket
When: Sunday, October 4, 9am-4pm
Where: Milestone Park, 18th Avenue, between 81st and 82nd Street.
What: The award-winning farmers’ market is back! Lookout for free cooking demonstrations and delicious, organic, farm-fresh produce all day. The market will be open in the 18th Avenue park every Sunday until November 22.

43rd Annual 3rd Avenue Festival
When: Sunday, October 4, 10am to 8pm
Where: Third Avenue, from Bay Ridge Avenue to 93rd Street
What: Sponsored by the Merchants of Third Avenue, Bay Ridge’s 24-block-long street fair will feature rides, live music, performances, outdoor cafes, fashion shows, sales, and more, the festival runs along  from noon to 6 p.m.

Regina Pops Concert
When: Sunday, October 4, 3pm
Where: The auditorium of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help school, 5902 6th Avenue
What: Regina Opera soloists will present a two-hour concert of show-stopping selections from popular operas and Broadway shows — including “Carmen,” “I Pagliacci,” and “Turandot,”“Phantom of the Opera,” and “Oklahoma.”

Free Fall Concerts At Good Shepherd’s Church

Where: Good Shepherd Church, Avenue S at Brown Street
What: The 19th annual chamber music series at Good Shepherd Church, in Brooklyn’s Marine Park neighborhood, begins on October 4 with a performance by Brooklyn Baroque, a trio featuring a harpsichord, flute and cello. The concerts take place on 11 consecutive Sundays.
