Free Activities at the Prospect Park Audubon Center

Nature Exploration, 12-4 pm, M-F

Interested in becoming a naturalist? Learn how to identify birds and use binoculars and field guides. Participants can even create their own tube of lip balm and an Official Blooming Naturalist button.

Great Backyard Bird Count, 2–3 pm, M-F

Join Alliance naturalists in this fun, nationwide Citizen Science project. Each checklist submitted helps researchers learn more about the health of birds and how to best protect them!

Animal Encounter, 3–4 pm, M-F

Curious as to how “Snappy” the turtle got her name? Want to watch the snake gobble up a mouse? Join Alliance Naturalists in learning more about the animals in the Audubon Center’s collection and even assist in an actual feeding.
