Sunset Yoga
When: Thursday, September 24, 7pm
Where: Lakeside, Prospect Park
What: Stretch out the last few hours of the day and join us on Thursdays this fall for yoga movements guided by progressive house beats, trance, and ambient music. Breathe deep, listen, and watch as the sun sets over Prospect Park Lake with Abhaya Yoga. Registration begins at 6:30; please bring your own mat if you have one.

Afromysterics

What: Come out for the Afrobeat sounds of Afromysterics.

Happy Hour

Where: Lark Cafe, 1007 Church Avenue
What: Come hang out Lark Cafe and start your Labor Day weekend off with a glass of wine or beer and feel free to bring the kids!

Free Wine Tasting
When: Friday, September 25, 6-8pm
Where: Kings County Wines, 1205 Cortelyou Road
What: Start your weekend trying out some new wines at the weekly tasting at Kings County.

Lola Star’s Dreamland Roller Disco
When: Friday, September 25, 7:30pm
Where: LeFrak Center, Lakeside
What: Go Greased Lighting! Dress like you are going to an 80s Pajama Party at this week’s Dreamland Roller Disco. Note that admission is restricted to guests ages 21 and older. For more information, or to buy tickets in advance, visit the Dreamland website.

Karen Hudson River Trio

Octoberfest

Where: Sycamore, 1118 Cortelyou Road
What: Celebrate the start of the German beer festival with live music, bratwurst, and barbecue all day at Sycamore.

Garden Party
When: Saturday, September 26, 5-7pm
Where: ELK Cafe, 154 Prospect Park Southwest
What: Come enjoy a garden party at ELK! There will be a live jazz trio featuring local Jamie Reynolds. There will be a special happy hour with $5 beers and $6 wines all evening.

Ewald
When: Saturday, September 26, 9pm
Where: Bar Chord, 1008 Cortelyou Road
What: Need more funk and soul in your life? Check out Ewald tonight at Bar Chord.
How much: Free.

Harvest Festival
When: Sunday, September 27, 1pm-4pm
Where: Lefferts Historic House, Prospect Park
What: Come celebrate this year’s harvest at the Lefferts Historic House. Reap, cook and eat potatoes that were planted in our garden back in May. You can also challenge friends and family to potato sack races!
How much: $3 suggested donation.

Church Avenue Street Fair
When: Sunday, September 27, 12pm-6pm
Where: Church Avenue, between East 3rd Street and McDonald Avenue
What: Food vendors, craft vendors, games, rides, shopping, FDNY fire safety exhibition, fun for the whole family!  Sponsored by the 66th Precinct Community Council.
