Happy Friday, everyone! This weekend, you can celebrate a Bangladeshi mela on McDonald Avenue, go to a free concert at Church Bar and EzraGuitar, and lots more.

Friday, August 7

• Get in shape at Shape Up NYC’s free cardio toning class at Prospect Park’s Audubon Center, 12-1pm.
• Meet fellow moms and dads at the New Parent Meet-Up, Lark Cafe, 1pm.
• Enjoy a free kid-friendly film at the Cortelyou Library, 2pm.
• Sing-along with Andrew from Rolie-Polie Guacamole at Elk Cafe, 4pm.
Johnny Lupiani’s Awesome BBQ is dishing up food at Sycamore’s Flatbush Food Court, 4-11pm.
Happy hour is at Lark, 4pm.
• Free wine tasting at Kings County Wines, every Friday from 6-8pm.
Third World performs at Celebrate Brooklyn, 7:30pm.
• Neighbor Lola Star’s Dreamland Roller Disco is at Prospect Park’s Lakeside ($18, buy tickets here), 7:30-10pm.
• Attend a free concert at Church Bar, 8pm.
• The John Pinamonte Band play their American Roots music at Bar Chord, 9pm.
Rahlou is at Sycamore, 10pm.

Saturday, August 8

• Check out all the locally grown fruits, veggies and more at the Kensington Youthmarket, 8am-4pm.
• See our beautiful E. 4th Street Community Garden during its visiting hours, 9am-1pm.
Go rowing for free at Prospect Park Lake, 12-4pm.
• The Brooklyn Bird Club leads an intro to birdwatching class at Prospect Park’s Audubon Center, 12-1pm.
• Kids ages 15 and under can take free fishing clinics at Prospect Park’s Eastwood, 1pm & 3pm.
• Play historic games at the Lefferts Historic House, 2-5pm.
Burma Noodle Bar whips up their culinary creations at Sycamore’s Flatbush Food Court, 4-11pm.
• Free family bird watching at Prospect Park, 4:30pm.
The tUnE-yArDs perform at Celebrate Brooklyn, 7:30pm.
• Attend a free concert at EzraGuitar (donations will be accepted), 8pm.
Reverse Double Cluts perform their neo soul and funk at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Sunday, August 9

• Check out all the fresh veggies, fruit, and more at the Cortelyou Greenmarket and the new Parkside Greenmarket, 8am-3pm.
• Sing-along with Amy Miles at Lark Café, 10am.
• See our beautiful E. 4th Street Community Garden during its visiting hours, 10am-2pm.

• Bring the kids to a sing-along with Amy Miles at Elk Coffee ($8 per family), 11am.
