Lighting The World’s Largest Menorah
When: All week, 6pm
Where: Grand Army Plaza, Prospect Park
What: Every night, the menorah lighting celebration is accompanied by live music and hot latkes for all. Special gifts are distributed to every child, making this a family celebration and a must on everyone’s calendar.
How much: Free.

Monday Night Craft Club
When: Monday, December 7, 7pm
Where: Kettle & Thread, 1219 Church Avenue
What: Bring your project: whether it be knitting, crocheting, bedazzling, etc and hang out with other crafters. Celeste, the resident expert crafting teacher, will be hosting so everyone, especially beginners, is welcome!

What: Original, soulful, and funky rock.

Little Feet Wise Heart Story Yoga
When: Tuesday, December 8, 10am
Where: Lark Cafe, 1007 Church Avenue
What: Combing the creative poses of yoga with our favorite books on movement, yoga, nature and animals, this class will have kids moving, Om-ing, and jumping between being entranced by the written word. Great class for two years and up.
How much: $15 per child.

Sycamore Beer Club
When: Tuesday, December 8, 6pm
Where: Sycamore, 1118 Cortelyou Road
What: Meet the brewers from Other Half Brewing Co. and try some of their rare and limited releases.

Ditmas Writing Workshops Faculty Reading and Get-Together
When: Tuesday, December 8, 7pm
Where: Kettle & Thread, 1219 Church Avenue
What: Rachel Sherman and other faculty members of Ditmas Writing Workshops will be reading their fabulous short stories, flash fiction, and selections from longer works. Come listen to some of Brooklyn’s best writers and relax with a latte.
