Q Gardens will hold a workday to transport its second set of composting bins from Flatbush Reformed Church, get its teepee trellis set up, and build three pallet A-frame vertical planters, 12pm-4pm.
• Adults can check out the free Sahaja yoga meditation at the Cortelyou Library, 12:30pm.
Bar Chord kicks off its second anniversary celebration with a BBQ series, which will run monthly from May to October, that includes Chef Michael Frazier whipping up Jerk Creole chicken, potato salad and red cabbage slaw, 2-8pm. (Plus there’s an all-day happy hour)
