This weekend, you can watch the guitarist and musical director for the Gregg Allman Band at Bar Chord, see some amazing movies at the Anti-Racism Film Festival, check out the new compost project at Q Gardens, get your eat on at Sycamore’s fried chicken & waffles party, and lots more. Thursday, April 9

• Try some scrumptious food and drinks at Sycamore’s Flatbush Food Court,  beginning at 6pm every day.
• Celebrate neighbor Paul Catalanotto’s art opening at Brooklyn Oenology (show will run through May 4), 7-10pm.
• Show off your stuff at the “moderately difficult trivia” night at The Lodge at Sycamore, 8pm.
Scott Sharrard, the guitarist and musical director for the Gregg Allman Band, and his Brickyard Band will perform at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Friday, April 10

• Join the drop-in sing-alongs with Lloyd H. Miller at Lark Café, 10 & 11am.
• Adults are welcome to get help on their computer skills at the Cortelyou Library, 11am.
• Meet fellow moms and dads at the New Parent Meet-Up, Lark, 1pm.
• Make your own nature journal and learn how to use binoculars and field guides at the Prospect Park Audubon Center, 1pm.
• Teens are invited to work on their creative writing at the Cortelyou Library, 2:45pm.
• Children and families are invited to learn about the nature all around us at Prospect Park’s Audubon Center, 3pm.
• It’s karaoke time at the Cortelyou Library! All ages are welcome, 4pm.
• Join naturalists to meet the animals in Prospect Park Audubon Center’s collection, 4pm.
Happy hour with babies and ice cream happy hour are at Lark, 4pm.
• Watch the “Taxi to the Dark Side” documentary at the Anti-Racism Film Festival at All Souls Bethlehem Church, 7pm.
• Get your heart rate up and explore the neighborhood with Ditmas Rides, meeting in front of the Cortelyou Library at 7pm.
