So many amazing things are happening this weekend – there’s the Flatbush Frolic, you can meet up with neighbors before going to the People’s Climate March, neighbor Lola Star is paying tribute to John Hughes with her “Pretty in Pink” disco skate party at Prospect Park’s Lakeside, and tons more:

Thursday, September 18

Free rowing at Prospect Park today and September 25, 4-7pm
• Timeline healing meditation class at the Family of Light Holistic Center, 7pm.
• Sign up for open mic night at 773 Lounge starting at 8pm.
Dwight Smith performs at Bar Chord, 8pm.
Ben, Ben, Iroko performs at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Friday, September 19

Sing-along with Lloyd H. Miller at Lark Cafe, 10 & 11am.
• Come to Prospect Park’s Audubon Center for a free cardio toning class, 12pm.
• Meet fellow moms and dads at the New Parent Meet-Up, Lark, 1pm.
• Kids can attend Blooming Naturalists  at the Prospect Park’s Audubon Center, 1-2pm Thursdays and Fridays.
• … followed by Nature on the Go, also at the Audubon Center, 2-3pm Thursdays and Fridays.
• Kids ages 8 and up are invited to a creative writing group at the Cortelyou Library, 2:45-3:45pm.

• Join WILD for Prospect Park for their lakeside cleanup, meet at the rustic shelter near the Ocean Ave/Parkside Ave entrance to the park, 9:45am.
• Lavender Blues Sing-Along at Lark Cafe, 10 & 11am.
• Yard sale at the Flatbush-Tompkins Congregational Church (the yard sale will be on the East 18th side of the church, near Dorchester), 10am-4pm.
• Join the Family of Light Holistic Center‘s new class, “creative art thru meditation,” 11am.
• There’s Sahaja yoga meditation at the Cortelyou Library, 12:30-2pm.
• Meditate inside 6-foot pyramids at the Family of Light Holistic Center, 2pm.

Sunday, September 21

• Check out all the fresh veggies, fruit, and more at the Cortelyou greenmarket (Cortelyou between Argyle and Rugby), 8am-3pm.
Meet up with neighbors at the Flatbush Food Co-op before heading to the People’s Climate March, 9am.
• Play and sing at Toddler Time with Mary Jo at Lark, 10am.
• Enjoy food, music, dancing, and more at the 39th annual Flatbush Frolic, 11am-6pm.
• Browse the goodies, clothing, toys, furniture, and more at the Beverley Square West Association’s annual yard sale. Beverley Square West is bordered on the east and west by Coney Island Avenue and the train tracks and on the north and south by Beverley and Cortelyou Roads. 11am-5pm.
Kids yoga with Jen at Lark Cafe, 11am.
Compost for Brooklyn (Newkirk Avenue and 8th Street) holds its open garden hours, when you can relax, explore and enjoy the native plant garden with volunteer hosts, 4-6pm.
• Neighbor Libby Parsons will be offering delicious eats from her taco venture, “La Chiflada: ¡Que Fancy Tex-Mex!” at Sycamore, where she’ll be selling tacos al pastor, fried avocado tacos, borracho beans, and more, 4:30pm.
