Things To Do In Ditmas Park This Week

Tuesday, September 23

• Join the drop-in sing-along with Miss Katie at Lark Cafe, 11am.
• Babies, from age 0 to 18 months, and their parents/caregivers are welcome to join Babies and Books at Cortelyou Library, 11:15am.
• Come sing and dance with Amy Miles at Lark Cafe, 4pm.
• Children ages 6 and up are invited to have fun at the Explore & Create event at the Cortelyou Library, 4pm.
Join the Brooklyn Front Runners (a multi-sport club for LGBT and LGBT-friendly athletes) for a run at Prospect Park every Tuesday evening, 7pm.
Honky & Ladytown perform with special guests at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Wednesday, September 24

Join the Prospect Park Alliance and the Alliance’s Natural Resources Crew for an ecological restoration walking tour led by Steven DiFalco, the Alliance’s forest ecologist, who will identify invasive species that can disrupt the park’s ecosystem. The tour, which kicks off at Lakeside, is free but limited to 20 people. For more information or to register, email sdifalco@prospectpark.org. 9am-12pm.
• Lend the Wednesday Corps a hand at Prospect Park (call 718-287-3400 for location), 10am.
• Attend a sing-along with neighbor Debbie Deane at Lark, 10am.
• Teens can learn about PS3 gaming at the Cortelyou Library, 4pm.
• Free Standards, featuring Sebastien Amman and Chris Carroll, at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Thursday, September 25

Take a free fitness class with Shape Up NYC at Prospect Park’s Audubon Center, 11am.
• Bring your babies, toddlers, and kids to watch The Dad Beats perform at Lark Cafe, 11am.
• Last day this year of free rowing at Prospect Park, 4-7pm
• Sign up for open mic night at 773 Lounge starting at 8pm.
Akie Bermiss Trio performs at Bar Chord, 9pm.
