Things To Do In Ditmas Park This Week

We hope you enjoyed the warmish weekend, because this week we’re headed right back down into the 20s and 30s. There are plenty of events indoors to keep you busy through Wednesday, though–and if you want to see more or add your own event, you can check out our new calendar, too.

Monday, March 24

• Sour Beer Week is on until Sunday, March 30 at The Farm on Adderley. See what funky flights they’ll be serving here, and expect special syrups like cara cara and ceylon served with certain beers.
• Kids up to five can enjoy story time at the Cortelyou Library, 4pm.
• Attend the Rolie Polie Guacamole singalong at Lark, 4:15pm.
• Check out the weekly Shape Up NYC Couch to 5k Group Run, meeting at the Lefferts Historic House, 7pm.

Tuesday, March 25

•  Amy Miles hosts a sing along at Lark, 9:30am.
• … followed by a drop in sing along with Miss Katie, also at Lark, 11am.
• Babies and books storytime is at the Cortelyou Library, 11:15am…
• … followed by embroidery for adults at the Cortelyou Library, 1:30pm…
• … then Women’s History Month Jeopardy for kids at the Cortelyou Library, 3:30pm…
• … and finally, Explore & Create and Game On! for kids, both at the Cortelyou Library, 4pm.
• Attend a Youth Services Committee meeting at the CB14 District Office (810 E 16th Street below Avenue H), 7pm.
• The Elijah Tucker Band is at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Wednesday, March 26

• There’s a sing along with neighbor Debbie Deane ($5) at Lark, 10am.
• Lend the Wednesday Corps a hand at Prospect Park (call 718-287-3400 for location), 11am.
• Teens can learn about PS3 gaming, also at the Cortelyou Library, 4-5pm.
• Prepare for your U.S. Citizenship exam at the Cortelyou Library, 6-8pm.
Brooklyn ARTery’s Burlesque Drink & Draw is back at Bar Chord, 7pm.
• Check out this month’s 70th Precinct Community Council meeting at UCP (175 Lawrence Avenue between Ocean Parkway and Seton Place), 7:30pm.
Marek and The Boss Chops play Bar Chord, 9pm.
