Little Feet Wise Heart Story Yoga

What: Combing the creative poses of yoga with our favorite books on movement, yoga, nature and animals, this class will have kids moving, Om-ing, and jumping between being entranced by the written word. Great class for two years and up.

Turkey Trot

What: One of Brooklyn’s most popular races, this 5-miler is the perfect way to kick off your holiday season! The early start time guarantees you’ll make it home for turkey. The top three finishers will receive one of the Prospect Park Track Club’s famous holiday pies! Advance registration required.

ASBC No Buy Friday Potluck

What: If you are wondering where you should be bring some of those lovely leftovers, and you would rather be part of something other than the hustle and bustle of shopping, here is a safe haven for you. Meet your neighbors and build a feeling of community. This is a wonderful Flatbush tradition started by Sustainable Flatbush, and which All Souls Bethlehem Church is honored to continue.

Mike Cobb & The Crevulators

Winter On The Farm
When: Sunday, November 29, 1-3pm
Where: Lefferts Historic House, Prospect Park
What: Get ready for winter as they did in the 19th century farming village of Flatbush. Learn how to make a candle, watch a master spinster spin wool thread, and enjoy Dutch treats made at our outdoor hearth from a Lefferts family recipe. St. Nicholas will visit at 3 pm.
How much: $3 suggested donation.

Curling And Broomball Open House
When: Sunday, November 29, 7-10pm
Where: LeFrak Center at Lakeside, Prospect Park
What: Take an introductory course in curling or try your hand at Lakeside’s newest sport, Broomball.
