Basic Of Design & Learn To Draw

What: Learn to use basic materials and techniques, line value, color, shape and texture in a two-dimensional composition. For all ages and skill level.

RSK Science Kits: Exploring Math and Science
When: 11am and 2:30pm
Where: Sunset Park Library at 5108 Fourth Avenue
What: Children ages 0 to 5 learn about science and math through working creatively with connecting straws and other materials.

Health Care Office Hours
When: 10am-6pm
Where: Academy of Medical and Public Health Services at 5306 Third Avenue, 2nd Floor
What: Stop by our open office hours, every Saturday from 10am to 6pm, where you can interact one-on-one with our staff members, learn more about what we do, sign up for training classes, get a free health screening, ask your medical or public health question, learn about healthcare resources in your community, and much, much more!

Affordable Care Act In-Person Navigator Assistance
When: 11am
Where: Sunset Park Library at 5108 Fourth Avenue
What: Obtain information about qualified health insurance plans, check requirements for subsidies and government insurance programs, and get enrollment assistance from trained and certified navigators. All sessions are by appointment only.

Parallel Processes: Artists and Activists In Dialogue
When: 12:30-3pm
Where: BHQFU at 33 34th Street, 6th Floor
What: Join us at Bruce High Quality Foundation University for a panel discussion with artists, activists, and scientists working to expand the way we approach environmental problems in the 21st century. Brighten up your Sunday with a brunch reception hosted by ELNYA, featuring pastries from Colson Patisserie and Bloody Marys sponsored by Fractured Atlas, while taking in the latest exhibition at BHQFU and this exciting panel discussion!
