Free Chamber Music For All Ages
Where: Center for Family Life at P.S. 503/506 at 343 60th Street
When: 6-8pm (refreshments at 6, concert at 7pm)
What: The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center will present Chamber Music Beginnings – Classical Categories.  Wannabe composer Wolfgang Amadeus Schmutzinberry takes a musical journey through time to check in on musical styles across the ages, guided by the world-class artists..

SATURDAY, APRIL 16

Group Bike Ride with GetWomenCycling
When: 9:30am-3:30pm
Where: Start point at Parlay, at 4722 7th Avenue
What: We will be riding in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens as we make our way to Rockaway Brewing Co. in Long Island City for a day of fun and entertainment hosted by Rockaway Brewing Co., Recycle-a-Bicycle, and the Bike Cult Show. Join us if you like to shop: $40 get you a commemorative Bike Cult tote and the chance to fill with as many recycled bike parts and bits you can fit in it! Used frames will be for sale too! There will also be folding bikes, great brews, and food vendors, plus great company. We will be crossing over the Manhattan and Queensboro Bridges with pick-up spots in Sunset Park, Dumbo, and Midtown East.

Immigrant Education Fair
When: 10am-1pm
Where: CPC Beacon at I.S. 220 at 4812 9th Avenue
What: Get information and help finding a summer camp, after-school programs, extracurricular activities, youth internships, SHSAT Practice Tests, and Summer Youth Employment for your child. There are also parenting and education workshops. There will be on-site education specialists that will be assisting student needs.

RSK Science Kits: Exploring Math and Science
When: 11am
Where: Sunset Park Library at 5108 Fourth Avenue
What: Children ages 0 to 5 learn about science and math through working creatively with connecting straws and other materials.

Women’s Health Workshop
When:
 11:20am-1pm (mammograms from 11:30am-4pm)
Where: Academy of Medical and Public Health Services at 5306 Third Avenue, 2nd Floor
What: Got questions about health screenings and what they detect? Nutrition? Free mammograms? Come to this workshop.

Homework Help
When: 3:30pm

What: A trained volunteer helps children and teenagers to complete their homework.

(MORNING & AFTERNOON)

Affordable Care Act In-Person Navigator Assistance
When: 11am
Where: Sunset Park Library at 5108 Fourth Avenue
What: Obtain information about qualified health insurance plans, check requirements for subsidies and government insurance programs, and get enrollment assistance from trained and certified navigators. All sessions are by appointment only.

Do-It-Yourself Arts and Crafts
When: 3:30pm
Where: Sunset Park Library at 5108 Fourth Avenue
What: An arts and crafts activity targeted at tweens and teens, ages 10 and up. Participants create arts and crafts projects within do-it-yourself guidelines.

Kids Create
When: 3:30pm
Where: Sunset Park Library at 5108 Fourth Avenue
What: Kids work with arts and crafts and express their creativity. Recommended for ages 6 to 9.
