Halloween Crafts for Toddlers & Preschoolers
When: Wednesday, October 28, 11am
Where: Dyker Library, 8202 13th Avenue, Dyker Heights
What: Bring the kids down to get crafty by making a paper pumpkin for Halloween. Can’t make it Wednesday? They’re also offering the crafting session on Thursday.

Babies & Books
When: Friday, October 30, 11am
Where: Kings Bay Library, 3650 Nostrand Avenue, Sheepshead Bay
What: Bring your kids, ages birth to 18 months, to the library for stories, songs, rhymes, and a chance to socialize with other babies.
How Much: Free!
Sewing Lessons For Children
When: Friday, October 30, 3:30pm
Where: Sheepshead Bay Library, 2636 East 14th Street
What: For the creative kid (age 10+) who doesn’t have a Halloween costume yet but might be interested in making his own, this is the place to be.
How Much: Free!
Boo Buddies
When: Saturday, October 31, 10am-12pm
Where: Pinot’s Palette, 7518 13th Avenue, Dyker Heights
What: Children ages 6 and up can get in the holiday spirit by getting artistic and creating a painting. And yep, expect lots of candy for those kids, to get them a jump-start on the trick-or-treating.
How Much: $28 per painter, register here.
Halloween Harvest
When: Saturdays & Sundays through November 1, opens at 12pm
Where: Luna Park, 1000 Surf Avenue, Coney Island
What: Celebrate the seasons with storytelling, pumpkin picking, balloon art, crafts, s’mores, a doggie costume parade, karaoke, and more.
How Much: Free!
Haunted Walk
When: Saturday, October 31, 1-9pm
Where: Owl’s Head Park, Shore Road at 68th Street, Bay Ridge
What: Look out for 12 creepy vignettes involving ghosts, ghouls, mad scientists, a scream house cafe, and more surprises. The fairy tale forest (open 2-5pm and 7-9pm) will include a pumpkin patch, arts and crafts, storytelling, rides, a photo booth, and more. Plus, there’s a food court with sausages, zeppole, kettle corn, etc..

Spooky Stories
When: Saturday, October 31, 12:15pm
Where: New Utrecht Library, 1743 86th Street, Bensonhurst
What: Kids are invited to come in costume to listen to spooky tales and create a creepy craft.

Dyker Frights
When: Saturday, October 31
Where: 1123 79th Street, Dyker Heights
What: The outrageously decorated private home is a sight to see any day leading up to Hallowen, but on On All-Hallow’s Eve, volunteers will dress up as wretched creatures to blend in with the spooky scene and jump out unexpectedly to scare the children.

Little Hands Craft
When: Tuesday, November 3, 11:45am

What: Fun and crafts for kids ages 2 and up!
