What: A deep-dive into art and art history as kids learn how to be creative through a range of mediums as taught by experienced artists.

Kids Create: Dream Catcher
When: Thursday, November 12, 4pm
Where: New Utrecht Library, 1743 86th Street, Bensonhurst
What: In honor of Native American Heritage Month, kids ages 5-17 are invited to create a dream catcher while learning about the culture and music of Native Americans.
How Much: Free!

Babies & Books
When: Friday, November 13, 11am
Where: Kings Bay Library, 3650 Nostrand Avenue, Sheepshead Bay
What: Children up to 18 months old will be encouraged in early literacy and language development by their caregivers in this program that provides great books, fun songs and rhymes, and socialization opportunities.

Sewing Lessons For Children
When: Friday, November 13, 3:30pm
Where: Sheepshead Bay Library, 2636 East 14th Street
What: For the creative kid (age 10+) who has expressed an interest in sewing, this is a great spot for beginners.

Math Tutoring
When: Saturday, November 14, 11am-1pm
Where: New Utrecht Library, 1743 86th Street, Bensonhurst
What: For any eighth graders (and younger grades) who could use some help with math homework and exam prep.

Coloring Pages
When: Saturday, November 14, 1-3pm
Where: Sheepshead Bay Library, 2636 East 14th Street
What: They provide the colors, the kids provide the creativity!

Kids Create: Storycraft
When: Monday, November 16, 4pm
Where: Coney Island Library, 1901 Mermaid Avenue
What: Kids will hear a story, and then make a craft that’s based on it.
