This weekend, you can learn about the incredible history of cantors in Brooklyn at the East Midwood Jewish Center, get your questions about pre-k answered at the Cortelyou Library, find your new best friend at a cat & kitten adoption event on Cortelyou Road, learn about affordable housing at an Equality for Flatbush fundraiser at Bar Chord, and lots more. Thursday, March 19

Join the East Midwood Jewish Center for “The Golden Age of Cantors in Brooklyn: An Evening of Stories and Music,” with wine and cheese at 7:15pm and the class at 8pm. $15.
• Dream of warmer weather with surfing videos & Caribbean food at Sycamore’s The Lodge, 8pm.
Dr. Zsa’s Powdered Zydeco Band performs at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Friday, March 20

• Join the drop-in sing-alongs with Lloyd H. Miller at Lark Café, 10 & 11am.
• Adults are welcome to work on their technological skills at Cortelyou Library’s computer lab, 11am.
• Come to Prospect Park’s Audubon Center for a free cardio toning class (bring your own workout mat), 12pm.
• Meet fellow moms and dads at the New Parent Meet-Up, Lark, 1pm.
• Teens are welcome to attend the creative writing group at the Cortelyou Library, 2:45-3:45pm.
Happy hour with babies and ice cream happy hour are at Lark, 4pm.
• Get your heart rate up and explore the neighborhood with Ditmas Rides, meeting in front of the Cortelyou Library at 7pm.
• Looking for a fun & safe environment for your child while you do your shopping, go out to dinner, or catch up with friends? Latin Fever will provide your child with fun-filled activities, games, movies and more. $35 for 2.5 hours and snacks or $15 for one hour. 7:30-10pm.
Bourbon Sprawl plays their classic country at Bar Chord, 9pm.
Rahlou is at Sycamore, 10pm.

Saturday, March 21

• Lavender Blues Sing-Along at Lark Cafe, 9,10 & 11am.

• The Brooklyn Bird Club offers a free class on birdwatching at Prospect Park’s Audubon Center, 12-1:30pm.
• Try some scrumptious food and drinks at Sycamore’s Flatbush Food Court, 2-8pm every Saturday and Sunday.
• Confused about pre-k? Get your questions answered at the Cortelyou Library, 2:30-4:30pm.
Alegba and Friends perform their Afro-Latin-Caribbean love at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Sunday, March 22

• Check out all the fresh veggies, fruit, and more at the Cortelyou Greenmarket (Cortelyou between Argyle and Rugby), 8am-3pm.
• Kids yoga with Jen at Lark Café, 10am.
• Sing along with Amy Miles at Lark Café, 11am.
• Adorable cats and kittens will be at an adoption fair at 1112 Cortelyou Road, 11am-4pm.
• Equality for Flatbush holds a fundraiser at Bar Chord, 2pm.
• Join local artists Linda Ippolito, Elaine Mamary and Madeline Sorel for the opening of “Pastures and Pleasures,” an art exhibit at Purple Yam, 2-4pm.
• DJ Telly spins a mix of old Jamaican, funk and soul tunes every Sunday at Coffee Mob, 2-5pm.
