Happy Friday, everyone! We hope you’ve all been enjoying your holidays and have gotten plenty of time to lounge around home in pajamas, hang out with friends and family, and stuff your face with lots o’food. But, if you’re getting a little stir crazy, there’s a bunch happening in our area this weekend, including live music at Bar Chord, free yoga at the Cortelyou Library, the annual quilt show at Prospect Park, a kids’ movie night at Prospect Gymnastics, and more:

Friday, December 26

Check out Happy Hour cocktail recipes at T.B. Ackerson Wine Merchants, 6-8pm.
• Get your heart rate up and explore the neighborhood with Ditmas Rides, meeting in front of the Cortelyou Library at 7pm.
• Looking for a fun & safe environment for your child while you do your shopping, go out to dinner, or catch up with friends? Latin Fever will provide your child with fun-filled activities, games, movies and more. $35 for 2.5 hours and snacks or $15 for one hour. 7:30-10pm.
Jake G & The Soul Vibrance play their classic soul stew, Flatbush Style, at Bar Chord, 9pm.
Rahlou is at Sycamore, 10pm.

Saturday, December 27

• Lavender Blues Sing-Along at Lark Cafe, 10 & 11am.
• Learn about the amazing array of birds that call Prospect Park home as the Brooklyn Bird Club leads its Introduction to Birdwatching program at Prospect Park’s Audubon Center, 11am-12pm.
• The 23rd annual quilt show at Prospect Park’s Lefferts Historic House will feature 16 eclectic quilts on loan from a group show curated by the Quilters’ Guild of Brooklyn. Saturday and Sunday, 12-4pm.
• Free Sahaja yoga meditation at the Cortelyou Library, 12:30-1:30pm.
• Try some scrumptious food and drinks at Sycamore’s Flatbush Food Court, 2-8pm every Saturday and Sunday.
Kids’ movie night at Prospect Gymnastics will include pizza from San Remo, a showing of “Lilo and Stitch,” and play time for children ages 4 to 8. $35. Go here to register.

Sunday, December 28

• Check out all the fresh veggies, fruit, and more at the Cortelyou greenmarket (Cortelyou between Argyle and Rugby), 8am-3pm.
• Kids yoga with Jen at Lark Café, 10am.
