Happy December, everyone! This week, you can see a free concert at Brooklyn College tonight, win drinks at Bar Chord and the Highbury Pub tomorrow night, join a no-cost exercise class at the Cortelyou Library Wednesday evening, and lots more:

Monday, December 1

• Check out the weekly Shape Up NYC Couch to 5k Group Run, meeting at the Lefferts Historic House, 7pm.
• Remember Mohammad Naiem Uddin, the 14-year-old boy killed by a hit-and-run driver, at a vigil for him outside PS 130, 6pm.
See a free concert at Brooklyn College (Studio 312, Roosevelt Extension), where Conservatory of Music composers will present their new acoustic and electroacoustic works, 7pm.
• Forleigh, the British-Ghanian songwriting genre buster, will perform at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Tuesday, December 2

• There’s a drop-in sing-along with Dan Loomis (of The Dadbeats) at Lark Cafe, 9am.
• Join the drop-in sing-along with Miss Katie at Lark Cafe, 11am.
• Learn how to strengthen your immune system and de-stress at an intro demo to Young Living Essential Oils, which will be held at the Natural Frontier Market, 3-5pm.
• Come sing and dance with Amy Miles at Lark Cafe, 4pm.
• Listen to classic and contemporary works by Latin and jazz masters, new and old, at the free Conservatory Jazz Ensemble at Brooklyn College (Studio 312, Roosevelt Extension), 7pm.
Join the Brooklyn Front Runners (a multi-sport club for LGBT and LGBT-friendly athletes) for a run at Prospect Park every Tuesday evening, 7pm.
Win free drinks and other prizes at the last music trivia night of 2014 at Bar Chord, 7pm.

Wednesday, December 3

• A new gentle yoga class each Wednesday at the Church of the Nativity (1099 Ocean Avenue, by Farragut) will include stretching, strengthening, and breathing deeply, and the instructor noted it’s good for those with arthritis, hypertension, diabetes, or just regular aches and pains. $10 suggested donation, 10:30am.
• Join the sing-along with Debbie Deane at Lark Café, 11am.
• Everyone older than the age of 5 is invited to exercise for free while practicing Falandafa at the Cortelyou Library, 6:30-7:30pm.
• Free standards at Bar Chord, 9pm.
• Two-for-one whiskey night at the Highbury Pub, 9pm.
